At the core of CARDALE-GATE’s durability is Magnelis®, a revolutionary metallic coating that significantly outperforms standard galvanised steel. Manufactured through a unique hot-dip process using zinc, aluminium, and magnesium, Magnelis® creates a dense and stable protective layer across all steel surfaces. This technology allows us to offer an industry-leading 10-year anti-corrosion warranty when basic maintenance is performed – making it a cost-effective investment for property owners.
CARDALE-GATE is ideal for use in front and rear garden paths, driveways, entrances, and access points, anywhere a secure and stylish boundary is needed. Cardale Garage Door Security Solutions
Every Cardale garage door is fitted with a secure, built-in locking system designed to provide dependable everyday protection. These locks are engineered to work seamlessly with the door’s lifting mechanism, helping to keep your garage safe while still allowing smooth and easy operation.
Depending on the style and age of the door, Cardale systems may include robust T-handle locks or modern euro-profile cylinder locks, both designed to offer strong resistance against forced entry. This ensures your garage door is not only convenient to use but also provides a high level of security for your property and belongings.
Cardale Gate FAQ's
Unlike traditional timber gates, our Cardale Gates are built using Magnelis® steel – a cutting-edge material known for its superior corrosion resistance. By comparing Magnelis® alongside galvanised steel, from our 1000- hour salt spray test, the results clearly exposed that Magnelis® resists corrosion for much longer than standard galvanised products. Magnelis steel (1.2mm leaf & 1.5mm frame).
The Cardale Gate is only available in two designs, Vertical Rib and Horizontal Rib. Although we don’t offer these gates in a same design as our garage door range, these gates are available in the same colour finishes to offer the complete exterior aesthetic.
The Garage Door Company gates can’t be automated. These are manual, side garden gates that are supplied with a gate latch as standard for gates up to 1200mm high and with a mortice lock and thumb turn for gates over 1200mm.
The door panel is 55mm thick with honeycomb infill.
The frame is to be installed to a solid, freestanding structure like a masonry wall. Frame to be installed flush to ground, upright and level.
